Jess has always had a flair for the dynamic and artistic. This, coupled with an innate love of animals, has resulted in pursuing animal photography with a passion.”

C O H E N © Jess Bell Photography Owner: Me! Jess Bell You know the saying, "the shoemaker's children go barefoot"? That's how I feel sometimes when it comes to photos of my own girl, Cohen. I find it really tough to take photos of her because I rarely have help to handle her while I hide behind my lens. Not to mention, I'm pretty choosy when it comes to photos of her so simple snaps rarely do it for me. But not today! Many thanks to the wonderful participants who came out to my holi agility photo shoot this weekend. Not only did they help me set up/tear down my equipment in record time, but they helped handle my crazy girl so I could take a few photos. This photo is definitely going to be printed on metal and hung in my studio! (Let's sort of ignore her not-exactly ideal jumping form compared to the other attendees. 😅 It's been a while since we practiced.) I'm not surprised that some people think that the powder is added in post-production. But this effect is captured in-camera and on-set! --- My holi agility photos are now available to clients! And holi isn't just for agility, but disc, bite sports, fetch and more. Contact me for personalized sessions or if you're interested in arranging something for a group. I wanted to make sure that anyone who has enjoyed my recent coloured powder photographs knew about Andrea Zachrau. She's the progenitor of the style. Please go check her out and give her and her gorgeous work some love. <3 https://www.facebook.com/aztierfotografie @andreazachrau_photography Share if you like!
